Dr. McNabb is available to school districts for Double Reed consulting, in-services, and to individuals for Music TExES tutoring or to colleges for group review sessions.
Double Reed Consulting or In-Services

Dr. McNabb has worked with double reed students for many years in various south Texas school districts, and has helped several to attain positions in the Texas all state ensembles. In addition, she maintains a select private double reed studio, whose students frequently earn top chairs in the region ensembles, and advance to area and all state levels. She presented an all day bassoon in-service to Brownsville ISD Double Reed instructors in August, 2015 and often assists band directors with instrument purchase advice and instrument play testing, as well as double reed problem solving. She is available for Double Reed Consulting, In-service presentations, and Solo and Ensemble adjudication.

Music TExES tutoring or review sessions
Dr. McNabb has been providing Music TExES reviews for 18 years, originally as part of her college's music major capstone course. Since the discontinuation of that course under a new degree plan, she currently gives a series of Music TExES review sessions to UTRGV music majors on both the Brownsville and Edinburg campuses who are preparing to student teach and take their Texas Music teacher certification test. The review sessions consist of four three-hour sessions, one each on Music Theory, Music History, Music Methods, and World Music/Popular Styles/Listening. Dr. McNabb also tutors individuals without Music Education degrees who are seeking teacher certification by taking the test. She is available for individual tutoring or to travel to colleges seeking intensive review sessions for groups.
